Artist Michael Killen has made the largest and most influential painting -" Sustainablity" on our need to wisely protect and restore precious resources that include the atmosphere, animals, plants, ground water, soil and waterways such as the Colorado River, San Francisco Bay, the oceans. In this video Michael shares what inspired him to make the painting. His inspiration includes an example of Government applying the Nation's resources wisely. This is charging NASA Ames to create a building --Sustainability Base; that serves as an example for the nation and world, to help them build highly energy efficient buildings.
