Episode Description:

This annual episode of the weekly Coach's Corner LIVE promotes the 9th Annual Shrine Chowder Bowl Classic All Star Football Game on 6.26.09 at Springfield benefitting Shriners Hospitals for Children. The game features teams made up of All Star players who are graduating seniors from Central and Western Mass High Schools. The staff of Joseph R. Mewhiney Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame select a squad of what they feel includes the most talented football players ini Massachusetts. The players have the opportunity to be ambassadors for the Shriners to seek out people who need care and to raise funds for their cause. Look for the game in July. Their motto "Strong Legs Run...So Weak Legs May Walk" spreads the traditon of helping kids - a tradition of strong healthy young people helping kids.

Volunteer producer, Nick Todisco and crew of Bob Bigda, John Mastro, Bill Orfalea have been supporting Shrewsbury student/athletes since 1999 on SPAC TV 28. Guests on this episode are Bo Reardon, Melha Shriner; Terry Walles, Central Mass Offensive Coach, Rob McCann, Central Mass Defensive Coach, Steve Allossso, Western Mass Defensive Coach.
