Episode Description:

PATRICK FRANCIS DESTOOP “In all that I do, I’ll bring glory to You, in all that I say, I will praise Your name” is the first line from the title track of Patrick Francis Destoop’s original CD, I am a Christian. They are not just his lyrics; they are his ministry. Patrick has been a guitarist, singer and professional musician for the past 20 years. Rock and roll was always the main influence in his life until four years ago when he had a conversion experience that changed his life forever. He had never written music before he became a Christian and, in the past few years, he has written over 65 original songs and has since dedicated his life to bringing them out into the world and sharing his story with people. Patrick’s rock and roll roots have influenced his unique style of music, which could be described as a mixture of Contemporary Christian, Folk, and Country-rock; he also covers a few familiar favorites in the Praise and Worship genre. He is living his dream, which is to take his testimony and music out, not just to Christians, but to the world, and to be a powerful witness for Jesus Christ. His testimony can be heard in the last line of his title track… “Because You came, my soul was saved…I am a Christian.” (If you are interested in purchasing Patrick’s CD's, or booking Patrick for a coffeehouse, concert or festival, email him directly at pdestoop@verizon.net)
