Karma Kitaj, CEO of Life Spring Coaching, interviews Deborah Crane. Crane was a counselor who became a Voice Movement Therapy practitioner, an expressive arts therapy that uses voice and movement to enhance people's ability to express themselves fully, as well as to perform. Voice production, she says, lies at the intersection of the person’s physical, emotional and psychological being. Crane sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on this episode to demonstrate the many ways that one may use one's voice. She founded Creative VoiceWork, a program for finding and expanding one’s voice, which can be the key to opening the door to the creative self.
