"The Force of Poetry" is a presentation on the meaning, mechanics and significance of poetry.
The 57 minute film features poet Timothy Victor Richardson whose work impressed Nobel Laureate, Joseph Brodsky, reading from his collection "Afflicted Love".
Poetry is displayed on the screen, line by line, as it is read. Lines are also color coated, at times, to show rhymes and illustrate other relationships as the poet describes them. Poetic meter is demonstrated in conjunction with jazz drumming exercises on a practice pad.

The humble Farmer is an upbeat radio program filmed in front of a video camera by 32-year Public Radio veteran, Robert Skoglund. The 56-minute show usually consists of 10 musical selections from the 1920s and 1930s with a tightly-scripted 30-second to 4-minute humorous comment sandwiched in between each selection.
This is not a program about farming. humble, who has a graduate degree in linguistics from The University of Rochester, is likely to deliver up a humorous and informative slant on fireworks, marriage, or solar power. Thank you for giving The humble Farmer a three-month test run. Oh, the first television commercial humble ever made beat 650 entries in 42 categories of advertisting to take Best of Show.
