Detail For Show: The Sue Orfield Show
The Sue Orfield Show is a 60 minute (roughly) locally produced music show with sax player Sue Orfield as the host and guest musicians from the Chippewa Valley and the upper Midwest.
The show is recorded in front of a live studio audience. It features a very wide variety of musical styles and genres—Jazz, Blues, Country,Rock, American Folk, World music. The goal is to bring local and regional musicians to a wider audience.
Sue Orfield fronts several bands in the area, tours nationally and internationally, and is known as the musician who can play with anyone, in any style, with little or no rehearsal. For each show, Orfield introduces the guest(s), they play several numbers, she joins them for several, and then interviews guests about their history, performances, etc. Interviews are conducted after the show, and then inserted into the video.
