In this 1 hour 40 minute show, the viewer sees gavel-to-gavel coverage of a public forum where farmers, interested citizens, legislators, and state officials discuss a regional initiative to help dairy farmers get better prices for their milk. The forum was held on December 8, 2009, in Representatives Hall in the New Hampshire State House and was sponsored by the Milk Producers Emergency Relief Fund Board. The Board was crated by an act of the NH legislature in 2008. The initiative called KEEP LOCAL FARMS works to connect consumers with dairy farmers through education and direct support. KEEP LOCAL FARMS seeks to strengthen and protect milk production throughout New England.
