Detail For Show: Maine Municipal Association meets the Gubernatorial Candidates
On July 14 and Aug. 2, 2010, all five candidates for Governor met with Executive Committee members and staff at the Maine Municipal Association in Augusta to discuss municipal issues. The candidates were: State Senate President Libby Mitchell, of Vassalboro; Mayor Paul LePage of Waterville; Eliot Cutler of Cape Elizabeth; Shawn Moody of Gorham; and, Kevin Scott of Andover. These were not debates. Each candidate appeared separately. In advance of the meetings, candidates were given a list of topics to be covered.
We at the Maine Municipal Association want to share these sessions with our municipal members and with the public.
