Starting its 8th year, “Conversations from St.Norbert College” enlists a variety of faculty, staff, students, friends of the college and public figures focusing on social, political and educational issues. The range of topics and speakers from all walks of life help the college to portray its sense of community and desire to reach a diverse population and welcome them to the college. From NFL coaches and front office personnel to Pulitzer Prize-winning authors, "Conversations from St. Norbert College" has something for everyone.
The host of the show is Kevin Quinn. He is associate dean of social sciences and professor of economics at St. Norbert College and is considered one of the countries leading sports economists. The show is produced by Mike Counter, director of media relations at St. Norbert College. Mike spent 23 years in the broadcasting business, most of that time as a television sports anchor. The show is edited by Jason Wright, a digital arts specialist in technology support services at St. Norbert College. Jason has been editing the show since its inception. The set, graphics, open and close of the show were all designed and created in house. Currently, the same show is aired weekly for one month at a time. New shows are produced and distributed the first week of every month.

We see the television show as a way to market the college to a broader external audience.The key was to try finding a way to carry a professional looking show without spending major dollars on commercial TV. “Conversations” is also a part of the college’s strategic plan to connect the region to the institution from a marketing and public relations perspective.
