Room of One's Own is an inspirational show about people who have followed their dreams and carved out a niche for themselves.
Inspired by the works of Virginia Woolf and visionaries throughout time, the show’s message is best summed up by the words of Henry David Thoreau, namely: “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.” For the unfortunate reality for many is as Thoreau also declared: “Most (men) lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.”
Room of One’s Own is designed to inspire you to do otherwise - to sing Your song, to dance Your dance, to do and become what You desire. The individuals featured in these in-depth interviews are certainly doing just so. They are living a life fully lived, with dreams wholly realized. They have made a room of their own.
