The current (10th!) edition of Door County TODAY, a new Wisconsin-based monthly TV show from the publishers of the Door County Go Guide™. This month's show features segments about American Folklore Theatre, painter Craig Blietz, Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant (well-known restaurant with goats on the roof!), and the new-old sport of paddleboarding.
STATION PROMO COPY: A monthly half-hour TV show about Door County, Wisconsin's unique businesses, artists, musicians, and local personalities, plus in-the-field reports about the natural beauty that makes Door County the Upper Midwest's silent sports headquarters. Hosted by local naturalist Paul Regnier, each locally-produced show includes four unique five-minute feature segments.

Door County TODAY is modeled after the soft feature format of CBS Sunday Morning. Each show contains four 5-6 minute features about the unique tourism destination Door County, Wisconsin, with "factoid" bumpers and a video postcard of the natural environment. Hosted by Door County Naturalist Paul Regnier, the show's intent is to inform and entertain, and is aimed primarily at potential visitors. Topics range from the historical (Jens Jensen, founder of The Clearing; Frederick Victor Poole, who started the county's visual arts scene in the 1920s) to the natural (spring songbirds, geography of the surrounding Niagara Escarpment, paddleboarding) to the areas' legions of artists and musicians. A unique travel show about a destination that has drawn many generations of travelers to visit again and again.
