Classroom Moments is a series of brief (under 5 minute) educational videos that can be used as padding, or as springboards to start discussion on a variety of topics, ranging from Literature to History, Science, Math and Arts.
Hosted by young people, these videos are designed to capture kids' attention and make learning fun. Sample episodes include science experiments that make an egg bounce, history lessons about such individuals as Orion Howe, who received the Congressional Medal of Honor at the age of 14, or demonstrations of the traditional art of Wycinanki.
Notes to Stations About This Show:
Classroom Moments was designed to be used as a springboard in the classroom. Each brief episode engages young people and gets them interested in the topic to come. For stations, the brief nature of these shows make them ideal filler or padding when regular programming runs short.
